DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with the AASM Foundation\, ACNM presents a webinar focusing on sleep disturbances across the perinatal cycle. Sleep disturbances are common during pregnancy and the postpartum period and can significantly impact maternal physical and mental health. This webinar will provide an overview of sleep changes across the perinatal continuum\, highlighting key clinical considerations for nurse-midwives. Topics will include the identification and management of sleep disorders\, including obstructive sleep apnea during pregnancy\, the relationship between sleep and mood\, and the impact of postpartum sleep disruption on maternal mental health.
