Midwifery Workforce Task Force

In order to successfully champion the argument that we need more midwives, we need to have a full picture of the midwifery workforce: where midwives are employed, under-employed, not utilized; where there are shortages in women’s health care providers and how midwives can be poised to fill these gaps. The purpose of the Midwifery Workforce Task Force is to examine critical elements influencing the midwifery workforce and potential solutions for the future.
