Volunteer Opportunities for the New Volunteer Structure
The new Volunteer Structure will be implemented after the Annual Meeting in Savannah this year. As a result of the restructuring, as well as some terms ending, we have a number leadership positions open. We are seeking interest from ACNM members for engagement in the new Volunteer Structure. This is an opportunity to participate in our efforts to make the volunteer structure more robust and responsive to our membership’s needs. We are looking for a diverse group of leaders (or potential leaders – we will help you!) at all stages of their midwifery careers to help us forge ACNM’s future in service to its members and the families for whom we care. Please consider where you could make a contribution by considering a leadership role or participating as an engaged member of one of the many committees, particularly the newer ones.
Below is a list of leadership positions and membership opportunities that are currently open. If a particular Division or Committee is of interest, please click here to view a powerpoint that not only explains our new volunteer structure, but lists the functions and roles of each division and committee. See if something fits!
The turnaround time is short, but the process is easy. When you find where you belong, simply send a statement of interest and your CV/resume’ to Dr. Lisa Kane Low, President of ACNM by Thursday, March 15, 2018.
ACNM WANTS YOU!!!
