The Basic Competency Section is beginning revision of the Core Competencies. The Core Competencies are based on the AMCB Task Analysis with room for expert opinion to keep the document congruent with national priorities for midwifery and midwifery education.
We would like the feedback of the ACNM membership as we begin this revision. While we anticipate few major changes to the overall document based on the Task Analysis, we would like to review your comments about your needs in the next Core Competency document.
We will be reviewing other important national and international documents as well as the Task Analysis.
